Intermediate STARSkate Program
Skaters in the STARSkate Junior Program will progress to the STARSkate Intermediate level once they have passed a STAR 2 assessment, or have the approval of the CPSC coaching team.
At this level you can pursue STARSkate in all disciplines: free skate, skills, dance, artistic, and synchro (individually) - it is your choice. Proper skating attire is required.
Skaters who previously registered in the intermediate program should register again at this level. This membership includes off-ice instruction on Monday and Saturday sessions during the Winter Session.
Monday and Saturday sessions are also geared to group instruction. Skaters are encouraged to register for Wednesday sessions which include some group instruction but are geared towards individualized instruction with a private coach.
Spring Session introduces a Thursday free skate session, including off-ice training, and an Open Ice Saturday session, both on-ice sessions requiring private or semi-private coaching. If you have questions regarding obtaining a coach for these lessons, please reach out to the Technical Director for guidance and assistance.

Spring Session will also feature one Theatre On Ice Special Session which is a fun, artistic, expression program that encourages skaters to explore their creativity, performance and acting.
The off-ice training program is a comprehensive dry-land program that incorporates fitness training, flexibility, off-ice jumps, conditioning, as well as a music, rhythm and dance appreciation program. It also further develops each skater's work ethic, goal setting, technique, teamwork and overall skating education. This program is essential for those skaters wishing to maximize themselves to their full potential. Skaters are to bring a yoga mat and water bottle to off-ice training.
ADULT STARSkate: Adults at this STARSkate level may be identified for this program. For an assessment, please email cpskatingclub@gmail.com, attention: Technical Director.
This program is offered on 3-5 different session times per week. Please check the exclusion dates. There will be no skating on exclusion days. Fees have been adjusted to account for exclusion dates.
