Senior STARSkate Program
Skaters at this STARSkate level must have passed STAR 4 Skills, be working on double jumps, or have the approval of the CPSC Coaching Team.
Skaters are working on advanced figure skating at the Skate Canada STAR 4 to STAR 10 and Gold levels.
A private coached lesson is mandatory for skaters at this level and proper skating attire is required.
The off-ice training program is a comprehensive dry-land program that incorporates fitness training, flexibility, off-ice jumps, conditioning, as well as music, rhythm, and dance appreciation. It also helps develop each skater’s work ethic, goal setting, technique, teamwork, and overall skating education. This program is essential for skaters wishing to maximize their full potential. For Spring and Summer, skaters should bring a water bottle and running shoes to off-ice training.
A parent, guardian, or designated adult must remain in the arena at all times during the session for any skater aged 12 and under.
