Professional Coaching and Safe Programming
All CPSC skating programs are taught by professional coaches certified through the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) and Skate Canada, the national sport governing body for skating clubs in Canada.
CPSC coaches register with Skate Canada each year and must maintain a current first-aid certificate and complete background screening requirements to remain in good standing.
CPSC only employs certified, accredited coaches.
Skate Canada programs are based on a Long-Term Development (LTD) model designed to support skaters at every stage of their journey, whether their goals are recreational, developmental, or competitive.
The LTD model helps coaches, parents, volunteers, and administrators create an environment that allows skaters to develop fully and reach their potential in the sport.
Please note: A parent, guardian, or designated adult must remain in the arena at all times during the session for any skater aged 12 and under.
