Junior STARSkate Program
Skaters who have passed CanSkate Stage 6 enter Skate Canada’s STARSkate program at the Junior level.
Skills, Tests, Achievement, Recognition — this is what STARSkate Junior is all about.
Junior STARSkate is for skaters who are ready to pursue figure skating, with a focus on specific figure skating skills, dance, and free skating.
Junior Group sessions are fully coached. Junior Freeskate sessions require private or semi-private coaching. If you have questions about obtaining a coach for these lessons, please contact the Technical Director for guidance and assistance.

The off-ice training program is a comprehensive dry-land program that includes fitness training, flexibility, off-ice jumps, conditioning, and music, rhythm, and dance appreciation. It helps develop each skater’s work ethic, goal-setting, technique, teamwork, and overall skating education.
This program is essential for skaters who wish to reach their full potential. For Spring and Summer sessions, skaters should bring a water bottle and running shoes for off-ice training.
Please note: A parent, guardian, or designated adult must remain in the arena at all times during the session for any skater aged 12 and under.
Adults: Adults at this level may be identified for the Adult/Teen STARSkate program. For an assessment, please email cpskatingclub@gmail.com, attention: Technical Director.
Please check the exclusion dates. There will be no skating on exclusion days, and fees have been adjusted accordingly.
