Volunteer Information
Centennial Park Skating Club is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization sanctioned by Skate Canada. We are always looking for more volunteers to help support the day-to-day operations of the club.
Our club has long depended on a dedicated group of volunteers who contribute an enormous amount of time and effort. We would like to continue growing our volunteer base, help members better understand club operations, and encourage more families and supporters to get involved.
Below are some of the volunteer opportunities currently available for the 2025-2026 skating season. Additional opportunities may become available throughout the year.
CanSkate Table
- Assist with name tags, attendance, and directing skaters to dressing rooms.
Holiday Gala
- Assist with the bake sale, raffle tickets, event setup, and clean-up.
Donations
In place of volunteer hours, we also gratefully welcome donations that support club events and seasonal activities, including:
- Prizes for draws and raffles.
- Hot chocolate, coffee, and cookies for skating events.
- Candy for our Halloween skaters.
- Candy canes and treats for the holiday season.
