Coaching Philosophy

As a coach, Katrine wants every skater to leave the ice feeling proud of themselves and excited to come back. She enjoys working with skaters of all ages and abilities and believes skating should be a place where everyone feels safe, supported, and encouraged to try—even when something feels difficult. Katrine celebrates each skater’s progress while helping them build confidence, resilience, and strong skating skills. Most importantly, she hopes to share her love of skating and create positive memories that stay with her skaters long after they leave the ice.
