CPSC Session Format for 2025-2026
Dear Centennial Park Skating Family,
It is our great pleasure to welcome you back for another season at Centennial Park Skating Club. We are set to move forward with outstanding coaching talent to help our skaters develop and attain their goals.
New this year is an Intermediate freeskate session offered in the fall on Saturdays, and a new 3-session package for Juniors in the fall on Saturdays, including off-ice, groups, and freeskate sessions. These new fall sessions will allow our Junior and Intermediate skaters more opportunity to prepare for the upcoming competition season.
Please note: a parent, guardian, or designated adult must remain in the arena at all times during the session for any skater aged 12 and under.
Our format at CPSC is like no other, as we are more of a “boutique” style club. This means we get to know your child and your child’s needs, then work with them to improve their skills and make them feel part of the team.
Our goal is to coach your child through the different stages of their programming efficiently. Spending less time at each level allows your child to advance more quickly. Your child never loses interest as they continue moving on to new and exciting skills while enjoying the satisfaction of reaching new goals in a timely manner.
Our programming format will be as follows:
Our Programming Format - Regular Season
- Pre-CanSkate will be offered on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
- CanSkate will be offered on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
- Adult CanSkate will be offered during the same sessions as CanSkate to provide caregivers the opportunity to learn to skate at the same time as their child.
- Pre-Junior will be offered for CanSkate Stages 4, 5, and 6 on Wednesdays and Saturdays, with full coaching and off-ice instruction included.
- Junior STARSkate will be offered on Wednesdays and Saturdays with off-ice instruction included.
- Intermediate and Senior STARSkate programs are available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, and are for skaters who have enjoyment and sport fitness in mind for their skating goals.
