Intermediate STARSkate Program
Skaters in the Junior STARSkate program progress to the STARSkate Intermediate level once they have passed the STAR 2 Skills assessment and the STAR 2 Freeskate assessment, or have the approval of the CPSC coaching team.
At this level, skaters can pursue STARSkate in all disciplines, including free skate, skills, dance, artistic, and synchro on an individual basis. Proper skating attire is required.
The off-ice training program is a comprehensive dry-land program that includes fitness training, flexibility, off-ice jumps, conditioning, and music, rhythm, and dance appreciation. It further develops each skater’s work ethic, goal-setting, technique, teamwork, and overall skating education.
This program is essential for skaters who wish to maximize their potential. For Spring and Summer sessions, skaters should bring a water bottle and running shoes for off-ice training.
Please note: A parent, guardian, or designated adult must remain in the arena at all times during the session for any skater aged 12 and under.
Please check the exclusion dates. There will be no skating on exclusion days, and fees have been adjusted accordingly.
