Program Assistants

Program Assistants

Program Assistants (PAs) provide continuous support to our club’s professional coaches. They are role models for other skaters and an essential part of our club.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Lead or assist with warm-ups, group activities, and cool-downs.
  • Lead or assist with the setup and clean-up of stations, circuits, and rotations.
  • Provide general assistance to coaches during the session.
  • Encourage skaters and help create a positive learning environment.

Ideal assistants demonstrate enthusiasm, commitment, and a positive attitude.

Training will take place at the beginning of the skating season.

Contributed time can be counted toward high school volunteer credits.

Your second year as a PA may make you eligible to join our PA Coach Team. For more information, please contact the CanSkate Coordinator at cpskatingclub@gmail.com.
