Adult/Teen STARSkate
Adult/Teen STARSkate is designed for adults and teens aged 15 and up who want to continue developing their skating skills in a supportive, coached environment.
Eligibility: Participants must have passed CanSkate Stage 6.
This fully coached session gives skaters the opportunity to work toward their individual goals, whether they are building confidence, refining fundamental skills, or continuing their development in STARSkate.
Every skater’s experience and comfort level are different. To help determine whether this program is the right fit, a coach’s assessment is available at the rink.
What to expect
- A fully coached session for adults and teens aged 15 and up
- Individual goal-setting and skill development
- A supportive environment for skaters continuing beyond CanSkate
- Coach guidance to help determine the most suitable program fit
Please note: Skaters working on Stage 6 and higher are no longer required to wear a C.S.A.-approved helmet. The final decision rests with the adult skater or parent/guardian.
Schedule and exclusion dates
This program is offered on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Please review the exclusion dates before registering. There is no skating on exclusion days, and fees have been adjusted accordingly.
