Skaters who have passed CanSkate Stage 6 enter Skate Canada's STARSkate program at Junior level.
Skills, Tests, Achievement, Recognition – this is what STARSkate is all about!
STARSkate is for skaters who have completed the entire CanSkate program and are ready to pursue figure skating. This program focus’s on specific skating skills, dance and freeskate. This program includes a 30 min group instruction by our Skate Canada certified instructors.
At this level it is recommended by Skate Canada that a skater should train a minimum of two to three days a week. A private coach is strongly encouraged at this level.
Wednesday’s class offers an additional 15 min group stroking class at NO additional charge. Also as an option StarSkate Juniors can choose Monday's (open session) from 6:30 to 8:00 pm + BONUS: jump class included in this days fees from 6:00 to 6:30 pm.
Off-ice classes will be starting in October.
**Off Ice for this program is offered on Saturdays from 3:20-3:50pm**
Proper skating attire is required for on ice sessions (i.e. skirt, dress, leggings for girls and comfortable pants - no hoodies please and if you have any questions about equipment or attire, please contact us directly via email or phone and we will be happy to help you.

- Monday (open session) from 6:00 to 8:00 pm
- 6:00 - 6:30pm off-ice
- 6:40 - 8:00pm on-ice
- Wednesday from 6:15 to 8:15 pm (flood included)
- 7:00 - 8:15pm on-ice
- Saturday from 3:25 - 5:15pm
- 3:25 - 3:55pm off-ice
- 4:10 - 5:15pm on-ice
