CPSC Session Format for 2020-2021

Dear Centennial Park Skating Family,

During the Covid-19 situation we have all been learning how to cope and find ways to enjoy life and stay safe as well as keep others safe.

We miss our Centennial Park Skating Club Family and wanted to reach out to let you know the FORMAT, SCHEDULE/FEES and POLICIES/PROCEDURES for skating at CPSC this season.

For our skaters, we know you are anxiously awaiting your return to the ice, your routines, and the friendships that our Club brings. We all miss being at the rink, it is our place to stay fit and enjoy friendships.

This season will have a different format to make sure we social distance to keep all skaters and coaches safe. Our format will be as follows:

                                                                       Our FORMAT

i)  Precanskate: NOT available this season (due to social distancing restrictions).

ii) Canskate: this program is for Canskaters level 2-6, meaning your child needs to be able to skate forward and backwards plus can stop. With our premium format this year we will have a 5:1 ratio of skaters to coach. So, please register quickly, space is capped due to social distancing restriction and is on a "first come first served" basis. This is a full season program running from Oct 10, 2020 to April 17, 2021. Cost is $780 for 26 weeks.

iii) Pre-Juniors, are skaters who have completed Canskate 4. Our Juniors/Intermediate "A" are at a Star 1 & 2 level and Adult/Teen Beginners are skaters who have enjoyment and sport fitness in mind for their skating goals.

Coach Annette is the Technical Director contact person for these levels, please contact her if you have any questions as to where you fit in: royannette4@gmail.com

iv) Intermediate "B": this program is for Star 3 and up skaters and accomplished Adult/Teen skaters.

v) Seniors: this program is for Star 4 and up skaters and advanced Adult/Teen skaters.

This season we have an Administrator in position to help guide you through the process of finding the programming that best suits your needs. Please contact Coach Mark at:    mnmacvean@hotmail.com   if you need any assistance.

Let’s focus on being healthy and get our children into safe and organized programming to help keep them all fit and enjoying sport.
